Training - Thursday 17 February 2011

Had a good session tonight.

Started off with bench press and had to exceed my previous weight of 40kg. 

My first set was with 40kg and I did 8 reps.

Second set wass 45kg and I did 4 reps.

Third set was 48kg and I did 2 reps.

These sets were all done unassisted.  Danie stood by to ensure I did not ending up getting hurt and in case the weights got the better of me, but in the end he only had to help me in my last set with rep number 3 which I did not count as I could not complete it on my own.

After that I did peck deck with 30kg - 3 sets of 8 reps

The it was wrist curls with the rolling thunder and 15kg of weight.  Did 3 sets of 20 reps with the clip at the top and 3 sets of 20 with the clip at the bottom to simulate the toproll and hook actions.  This was per arm and with the last set I thought I was going to die as the burning sensation started to interfere with my ability to pull the weight towards me.

Now I will rest until next weekend 26 February for the 4 women Round Robin match to be held in Polokwane.  I have some tough opponents and want to show some of the guys out there that this light weight can armwrestle and kick ass!
